I have to agree that agar has made alot of mistakes especially with things like bench selections and the style of play he has adopted . However what annoys me is the players attitude , happened in john kear era , peter sharp when they first come they are up for the games and look interested however once they start to lose a few you can see there attitude and desire changes . It has happened this season first five games we were playin ok rugby but what got us through was the commitment from the players. The forwards were running with urgency and the defence was meeting the man with the ball not hanging back waiting .Now they have lost a couple you saw players slipping of tackles and hanging back . Also the fact the players dont run onto the ball just wait there is another factor . The manager has to take alot the blame but to many fans look past the players something needs to be done at the top otherwise player power will always dominate and the players should be proud of wearing the black and white shirt not just saying it !!

Not that I am bothered that you are playing poorly, long may it continue, but Jon Sharp has never struck me as a motivator, when he speaks on TV he sounds like that Tory politician Geoffrey Howe, he is so booooring. I can imagine the players falling asleep when he speaks, Agar sound not much better either.

If the players had played with the same commitment in the last 2 league games as the first 5 we would be top of the league right now. I hope this little "rest" they've decided to have is worth not being top of the league. They probably cant even see that its actually hurting themselves as much as the fans/club/coach etc.
I agree the tactics haven't been the best but they have been good enough to win the last 3 games IMO and I'm starting to lose patience with the players rather than the coaching staff.

We are very low on confidence at the minute so we are not going to throw the ball around like we did in the first few games, but that doesn't mean we have to play predicatble 5 drives and a nothing kick at the end of each set.
Tickle needs spelling. In the latter parts of games he misses crucial tackles time and time again. We have cover for him yet we don't use it. I perhaps understood last year as we didn't have a goal kicker ( except Hall ), but now we have Thorman if necessary so i don't see Agars problem.. Unless he's blind
Craig Bellamy: "We're not boxers, we're footy players, and we've got to keep reminding ourselves of that. We're not too worried about getting bashed, believe me. We've got Michael Crocker."
I think you're alll missing the real culprit on this and other threads where everyone seems to be pointing the finger at someone to blame - The Board, James Rule, Agar, Sharp, Calderwood, Hall, Thorman etc etc all have been criticised but there is one obvious candidate that everyone seems to be missing .......
The root of the problem is Airlie Bird! He can't do handsprings and cartwheels like some of the other mascots; isn't at all intimidating like Tigers, Rhinos, and Wildcats and his boots are clearly too big for him to walk in properly! Could it be that forthcoming marriage is distracting him? He is clearly not inspiring the players like he should and the buck has to stop there! Perhaps his suit should be re-designed with a predator's beak, talons, bigger muscles and scarier markings. That would see us all the way to Old Trafford - I'm sure of it! Somebody has to be responsible so it might as well be him! Or am I getting things out of proportion?

Mick Potter, Tony Smith both have personalities of an haddock, they all can't be motor mouths like the one you have (Morgan), long on words short on content, Nathan Brown and Kevin Walters and DanialAnderson are another 3 that are boooooooring as you like to put it.
All existing and generally known ways to immortality can be divided into four catagories.

The way of the Monk.
The way of the Yogi.

Tickles form was poor for large parts of this season, and he's another player i feel the team could survive without, he's a workhorse and a goalkicker, but offers barely anything in attack.

Morgan DOES motivate his troops though, what was the comment in the HDM 'his players will run through a brick wall for him'
