Valiant FC Pipped to the Points by the Warriors As Hull FC travelled to Wigan to take on the Warriors, all that they had to play for was pride. But the prize for Wigan was far more tangible as they looked to draw level on points with the Rhinos in top spot ahead of Leeds visit to the Catalans Dragons tomorrow afternoon.
Wigan came into the game of the back of two wins while Hull FC, without twelve regular first-teamers through injury, were looking to get a second Super 8s win under their belt after losing on their last two outings.
All the expectation was on Wigan, and FC had nothing to lose.
