That's a hell of a trek EY!. Great that you are committed enough to travel such a long distance to see your beloved FC. A true fan.

Take care.

many thanks mb.upto 3yrs ago i was a season pass holder and came down for every home game,i watch on tele and listen to the away games on my laptop, but age (83) and my health prevent me from making too many journeys.

born in airlie str,1939.german landmine that fell on boulevard, also blew up half of our house.thats why i dont like germans.not because they blew our house and boulevard up,but because the gerry pillock was aiming for craven park.

Saw Ligi in trinity Market today and asked about his knee.

Hoping it's a low grade issue. Scans tomorrow. Fingers crossed for the big guy

I thought the halfbacks were OK, probably better but with better halfbacks game would have been over at HT, halfbacks also missed 11 tackles. Reynolds was also lucky with his try, very close to the line, just put the ball down, he has done that before.

Top win, big efforts from the backs and forwards and class by Connor.

You have been very consistent in your drum beating regards Hookem Dave and very admirable but as i pointed out in a pre season post your coaching staff have the opinion that his best position is at hooker. I think i am right in saying his only starting position for first teams games this season has been at number nine (on loan) and if my information is correct this was at the request of Hodgson.

Why do does he play 7 for the reserve team?

Probably because Balmforth plays 9. I think Hookem played 7 for Whitehaven last week though

No. Williams played scrum half versus Dewsbury last week and Hookem played again at hooker (every time he has appeared on loan there it's been as a number nine). Whether it is the form of Balmforth at hooker in the reserves i know not but i am reliably informed that BH sees Hookem playing at nine in the mid term, unless he is released permanently to a Championship side.
