Exactly, which is why they could have sold the club along with the SMC for much less if they really wanted out as by now they have more than recouped the initial cost of buying City. When they proclaimed they bought Hull City as a gift to the City what they meant was they had bought 'a gift that keeps on giving them' and only them.
I don't believe they've had any intentions to sell and wouldn't be at all surprised if trying to force Hull FC out with unfair treatment and costs that are just not viable is their plan to get the Council to give in and hand over the Stadium after they've racked up debt on it etc.
Sadly we have a council with as much backbone as a jelly fish when it comes sorting the issues with the Stadium, the SMC and the Allams.
If AP does manage to secure financial backing and the land to successfully build a stadium for the club then the Council have a monumental issue on there hands in regards to the KCOM and why they simply can not afford to bury their heads and hope it goes away..
