i know its the sun, but, finally get rid of the awful super 8s, middle 8s and the other that nobody is bothered about in the championship
the only teams that the middle 8s have benefited are widnes and huddersfield! would have been relegated in the old system and wouldnt have been missed either!
While I agree that the 8's haven't delivered, i'd add Leigh to the list of teams that have benefited they've had the thrill of a promotion year, a year in SL itself giving the fans top class rugby for the first time in a decade and I believe their crowds now are higher than before the promotion season.
I'd like to see promotion and relegation stay, as many clubs including our own got lazy during the franchise era. But i'd like to see the Championship grow to be more of a Superleague2 where relegation is seen as a disappointment teams can bounce back from not a complete crisis.
