The club are seeking views on the preferred kick off time for evening matches. Sky games will be kicking off at 7.45pm from next season. Should we make all our Friday night home games this rather than 8pm?
Quote:Hull FC are inviting their supporters to vote on the club’s regular kick-off time for 2018 home fixtures.
The RFL announced recently that all televised evening fixtures next season on SkySports will kick off at 7:45pm, whilst Hull FC’s usual kick off time for a regular home match on a Friday evening is 8pm.
This prompted feedback from supporters, whilst the club have also discussed it with the RFL and other clubs with regard to whether or not this should be adopted as a consistent approach for all evening fixtures across the season.
The kick off time will help SkySports broadcasts finish before 10pm, which in turn will also allow younger fans and families to be home a little earlier.
However, it also means home and away fans will need to arrive a little earlier at the KCOM Stadium for matches.
Therefore, the club are keen to gauge the opinion of our supporters with their view on their preferred kick off time for evening fixtures at the KCOM Stadium.
Hull FC’s regular home match day continues to be Friday, so this would apply to these matches. Other kick off times where specified on alternative days would still apply as publicised.
Fans can cast their vote using the poll below and we’ll take their feedback on board, before communicating a decision in the near future.

A few clubs have made all their Friday games 19:45 kick off which makes sense to save confusion. If we had masses coming across I'd be tempted to stick to 20:00 but we don't, and those that do travel in numbers are close enough for it to not make a difference.

Non-televised games tend to finish before 10pm anyway. It is the usage of the Video Ref for every try, the constant clock off for conversions, scrums, drop outs etc. that are pushing the time back that the game finishes. Should give players a set time to set a scrum or get the drop out taken like in the NRL. Every little helps

I muse admit I am exaggerating a bit, will still be able to get in in time just gonna be getting there just before kick off and sitting in South unreserved I like to get there a bit earlier to make sure I get same seat every time, just have to get my mates to start going earlier to save it.

Question is will the KCOM turnstiles & stewards be able to cope with the significant increase of fans arriving at the same time? Can see it being chaos at first to try and get in.
The issue for me with the games not finishing at 10pm is purely down to TV games and the pathetic officiating of handing just about every try over the VR and then them taking an eternity to decide on something that is pretty clear from the start.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
