We too many squad players again in my opinion and too many second rowers, we badly need a big impact prop to take the workload off Taylor/Watts and shake a game up.

we were well over the cap last year but had back-loaded contracts to enable us to stay under the cap, hence why we've had to offload loads including the marquee player and two on season long loan + Hadley.
Having bought a squad with hardly any hull trained players in the first XVII and not rotating players we have kids with no experience and as we've seen, quality kids that were highly reagrded just leaving the club because no chance of getting a look in (but usual rumour of bad attitude/think they're better than they are are falsely spread to cover up why they've left).
the much vaunted youth system has failed under Raddford and his assistants plain and simple and this is telling in how we are lacking in much top 8 SL quality players beyond the first XVII hence a few injuries and we struggle.
Hardly surprising Pearson wasn't too enammered with increasing the salary cap because he knows that we/he can't afford to keep bringing in high wage earners to compete for silverware and that to stay under the cap that means offloading players thus weakening us elsewhere.
