Bought tickets for the Saints home game yesterday and East stand is virtually sold out apparently with only a few single seats available.
Iknow losing Thursday is a big disappointment (the performmance as much as the result for most i feel) but I'm sure we'll still get 12k.
Problem as always for teams from across the pennines, Friday night, M62 madness etc etc.

Quite agree and yet it seems no problem to the Black and White who travel in huge numbers to every game.

.... I would imagine getting out of the Manchester area at 5 o'clock on a Friday will put people off.

It is miserable navigating the M60 at that time. I get back for matches easily enough because I leave early on a Friday. If I couldn't do that then I'd have to consider changing jobs as getting to games would be touch and go.

Its a credit to any away fan who makes the journey. Maybe with the new rules on ticket commission we'll see clubs on the wrong side of the hills trying to bring more.

Don't know how many Saints fans will travel to Humberside, but there were 3,000+ made the admittedly short trip to Leigh last night. And it all made for a terrific atmosphere.

Of course, the result may make them less enthusiastic about making the long journey to yours!
