Seen far better games tbh and it was only made out to be good by the sky commentey team creaming themselves over the 2 teams in it,glaWigan won it tbh as they gave us better games than the chokers.

On the contrary, its sad for Super league when a team dedicated grubby cheating tactics wins. Obviously a Hull win would have been best but other than their ability to win there is little to admire in Wigan's joyless thuggery and TBF Wire have been better throughout the year.

He didn't say it was the greatest game ever. He said that it was his greatest victory as coach of Wigan and I agree with him. I posted in the week leading up to the final that it would be one of Wigans greatest ever wins if they pulled it off, up there alongside the 1950 Championship win over Huddersfiled at Main Road when Wigan had eight players on their way to Australia with the GB touring side.
