I've been going for 25 years and for me this has been the best one. Cup won, monkey off the back, a hard working competitive team and local heros entertaining us each week.

And oh yeah, Rovers where they belong.

Rovers back where they belong is a best thing APART FROM winning at Wembley. But that's two great outcomes in 2016. Loving it.

Great season. We win at Wembley. Top four and touching distance of Old Trafford. Won at Warrington, Wigan, Saints, Catalans and Cas. Then to finish it off Rovers relegated. Loving it.

Certainly has been a good season. A trophy, 3rd in the league and with a chance of finishing top in the final game. Finally a side which though not the finished article has been able to maintain a decent level of performance and remain competitive throughout the season and, Widnes aside, one that has never been humiliated when they lost. They need to kick on though and the last 2 games should provide incentive enough.

And the icing on the cake is removal of the festering boil on the backside of Super League that is HKR, with a a nod to their Cup defeat by a Championship 2 side as a mid season pick me up. As good as its been for Hull this must be super painful for the ambulance chaser - good.
