From 8th last year to hitting mid August top of the league, in one major final and 80 minutes from another.

What a season this has been so far. I hoped we'd step on with some excellent recruitment but this has been unreal. People were disappointed to lose Paea and Lineham, yet Taylor and Fonua have, if anything, eclipsed them. Regardless of what comes next, this season is so far ahead of expectations it's incredible. So enjoyable thus far.

Amazing turnaround in fortunes in twelve months. This time last year we were sat in seventh having just lost at home to Leeds. We then lost the final four games of the season to end up 8th. The Cup had ended back in June. Yet here we are a week from Wembley with genuine chance of a win, top of the league, guaranteed top four place and 80 minutes from a Grand Final. Unreal.

Of course we have nothing to show for it yet but what a dream year so far. The recruitment has been superb. Taylor is the best prop in Super League, Fonua after a wobbly start looks like the star people like Andrew Voss said we would see. Still young, he could be annother Vainikolo. Frank, Manu, Carlos and Washy have all been great too.

Radford has improved immeasurably as a coach and will surely get recognised for that personally. Let's hope he, Pearson and Motu have silverware too.

Regardless of the result next weekend, it would be great for the game if Hull and Warrington meet in the final at Old Trafford and for a new name to be on the SL trophy.

Can we get a rebate on Tom Lineham please " Defective Goods".

For me, it seems that some players are really starting to hit their straps. Frank the last couple of weeks has shown some really good stuff (and played good minutes!), Hadley has been immense (and i fancy him to sneak a bench spot), Fonua is pretty unstoppable at the moment.

Massive praise to Pearson for not pulling the trigger and keeping faith in Radford. In sport all too often it's about instant success. But building a culture takes time.

Radford has taken some real stick at times when his remit was to restructuring from within. He has think skin and for that it's massive credit to him for being focuses and improving himself as a coach.

Yesterday, it was jam tomorrow, I am really hoping that come 5pm on 27th, it will be fillet steak with a lobster side washed down with bollinger

I really hope this time we play the game and not the occasion like we have in the past, easier said than done.

Just shows what can be achieved by having better players playing for the club. That in turn realises more depth and you finish up with a team that can compete.

Always knew Taylor would prove to be a better option than Paea. This doesn't mean that Paea wasn't and isn't a good prop but Taylor is better in every aspect of the game. Fonua again has proven to be a better all round player than Lineham, didn't know anything about him before he arrived and have been impressed overall.

It has to be a factor but this team have really performed at their best in the bigger games this year so hopefully that will continue next week.

Don't mean a thing without that ring... hope we do it.
