The way things are going I can't see Talanoa getting much game time. With Lancaster also waiting in the wings it's going to be a tough choice as to who gets another contract between Michaels, Tally and Yeaman, certainly Logan is with us for 3 more years, SM isn't on bag loads and doing ok. Currently I'd say Talanoa is well down the pecking order.

Not really. Talanoa's contracted for next season already. The decision about Michaels I expect will be more about what we want to do with the last overseas spot. Reckon Yeaman will get another year if he keeps up his current level of performance.
When I read the newsfeed it said Talanoa had signed a new 2 year contract...that was March 2015, that superceded the 2014 contract for only a one year til the end of 2015. An extension of two more years on top of his 2014 contract would indeed keep him here until end of 2017 but as it reads it's an overiding 2 year contract starting from the beginning of 2015 and is inclusive of last year thus will be out of contract the end of this. We'll wait and see but it still stands that Talanoa is on the back burner at the moment.
