Yes of course. The problems on this thread only started when people started giving Bumps hassle for mentioning football. He was only making a comparison yet the pitch fork crew decided to use as some pathetic point scoring mission as usual

I already said it was, it was the veru first thing in fact and I have not indicayed otherwise. What I was talking about was the (obvios) massive difference between soccer and rugby, what a luxury a deal such as the Liverpool one would be over 50 years never mind 3 (it might only be one year!) and also that due to how inexpensive RL is, that medium/smaller businesses could potentially see RL as an avenue given the vast figures for soccer even at lower levels if the RFL got off its arris to encourage investment/sponsorship.
However talking about sponsorship levels within sport is not allowed and must be ridiculed and threatening language/deliberate antagonosing posts used to make that point.
When some posters are only interested in the above instead of just having a casual discussion relating to the subject matter as i did you need to be lookong at those instead of the posters defending what they've said...
