yes just like you, I was gutted on Friday, and to be honest that was not a great wigan side was it? I don't like criticising individual players for the odd mistake but I just couldn't understand what was on his mind when watts made that unbelievable howler,!! still he's a good player and will I am sure by his efforts in future games he will help us win those matches. lets hope we get a win on Thursday to get us back on track coyh
Great Diary Wilf, I was gutted too pal, especially as we'd appeared to have done the hard work. One minute we had the momentum then we lost it. Like you I thought the Sneyd kick that hit our man was significant, for me it was a turning point.
But we are in games Wilf and we have to learn to be comfortable with that. The more we are competing in games, the better our game management will become. Was it last season that the Pies came here with lots of kids and put 40 odd points on us ?. Their Kids did great and showed an experienced Hull side us how to play. This year we've been beaten, JUST, by 2 good teams who are simply more used to holding up in tight games, we're still learning that as a group I think, but well get better, we will learn to find a way to win the tight games as we become consistently involved in them.

Only slight disappointment for me following Friday's game. As others have said we were only just pipped by two good teams, having performed really well in the first two games. We'll improve, that I'm sure of, and I believe on the evidence so far we'll finish in a respectable position at the end of the regular season. Keep your chin up Wilf, there's good things waiting to happen.
