I think we have assembled a really good squad for next year, including some great young un's, and I've seen enough in the last few weeks (Wire aside) to suggest we can be much better next season with the additions to the squad.
LR is here next season whether we like it or not (I'm not convinced either)
But if we get off to a poor start again, then LR HAS to go, without fail, no messing, end of.
Doubt he will though...
In a nutshell. I think Easter will be a watershed.

What's the odds of AP appointing another unproven Head Coach born in Hull???
I just cant see Pearson breaking his 'Club Hull' policy.

We are bottom of the league, 230+ points off the top teams, about to merge with our arch rivals, how is that better than last year? and you sit blaming the fans?
How about you dont collect your free season pass eh, or is it part of the conditions of you winning, that you bleat Pearsons tune.
Oh, and theres another thread about centres, if you missed it. Or have you forgot about your pet hate and threats of violence against others if we dont sign a centre and Yeaman stays on?

We finished the regular season 7th, 11 wins in 23. Last year we finished the regular season 11th, 10 wins in 27. We got to the QF of the Cup this year and were knocked out by the winners, last year went out at the first time of asking to Salford. Is that going backwards? OK then.

I support my club. I'm not quite sure what you're accusing me of here. I'm no superfan but I try and do my bit. I go home and away. I'm buying 3 passes including one for my daughter who will miss a lot of games as she's off to university. I'll do at least one hospitality match next year, for 4 people. Like many I'll buy probably 2 shirts, some training gear, 2 tickets to the POTY dinner, a HullFCLive subscription. I'm a fan. What do you expect me to do? Stop putting money in and send the club to the wall? Stop talking positively about the club I've supported for a long time? No thank you. Whatever the rights and wrongs of what's gone before (and if you paid attention you'd have seen I've said that AP's made mistakes and should be more humble and honest - started threads on this which you seem to ignore) we are where we are. The club is being criticised for cutting costs when its income streams are being cut by its own supporters - that's the reality.

What is your point here? You accuse me above of blatant apologism yet at the same turn criticise me previously being incredulous of us not prioritising a new centre in our recruitment. Make your mind up - you can't credibly have it both ways. Yeaman has been a great servant to FC and I've posted many times in his defence and pointed out his international caps, Dream Team selection and major final record, but I think his time as a first choice SL centre is over. Why do you find this so challenging?

We are still in reg season, table shows 29 games played, play off for GF is for top 4 only.
You do go to most games, not all, just like other normal people.
Good for you, i'm pleased you can afford to blindly put all that cash into the club, super, well done. Other do, but they dont need to post about it. If typing your materialistic list of things to support the club makes you feel better then so be it.
Pearson might need to be more humble and honest, they are behavioural traits, not actions in his business, which he owns, dont forget "we" are a "business"
You wont find me slaggging fans for giving up going, its being toilet for years, same old drivel every year, and at an increasing cost year on year. So i do understand why people ares topping giving cash in the same old hole. Its a shame the stadium agreement is such a mill stone round our necks, but hey ho, who knows what the new owners of the SMC and City will do, they might even have an interest in Hull RLFC
You spent the best part of the year slagging Yeaman off, till one post you mentioned his roll of honour, great, a post, doesnt cover your year long bleating where you posted "i will punch someone if we dont sign a centre and Yeaman stays on"
Yet the 2 threads on here, 1st about signing a centre, you didnt post, and the latest one about Logan and Yeaman you didnt post again.
Most would be bothered if you posted once a month, but you like to have your say, so i'd have expected a post.
The board has become a useless waste of bandwith now, tons of people dont bother anymore, it doesnt represent the fan base of the club. Doesnt even raise a chuckle anymore, the cheerleader thread should have started early August when our season was done.....

No we're not. A regular season would include the teams that started the competition. We've won more games this year, despite Bradford and London being eliminated. You ignored the Cup point, conveniently. You believe we've gone backwards since last season's 11th placed finish and first round cup defeat to Salford. That's your interpretation, but not mine

You specifically brought cash into it, implying I was ripping the club off by accepting something I won in a competition. Just posting some context. If it's uncomfortable I apologise. Plenty of fans do the same, as I said.

Not really sure what your point is here but I think what you're saying is that if the club goes tits up it's entirely Pearson's fault. I don't disagree that he's in charge and his decisions are hugely important. But we're a club and we all have a role to play, we have choices and our actions have consequences. Pretending they don't is irresponsible.

Ludicrous exaggeration. I've made 20k+ posts. If I've posted more than 10 times this season about Yeaman I'd be surprised. Let's have the links please. You haven't addressed your hypocrisy in slating me for apologism but jumping on me saying I don't think Yeaman is a SL starting centre now. Perhaps because it's inexplicable.

Doesn't raise a chuckle? Post something light-hearted rather than negative diatribes then.
