Watching our match last night it was apparent how much the short turn around affected the players. There was about 5 players flat out at the hooter and some extremely weary legs walking around after the whistle. Salford had bags more energy and if they were anything of a team (rather than a disparate set of individuals) and had a decent squad selection (Rangi at FB!!!!!) they would have probably took that game. We’ll get stuffed on Sunday. Just goes to show how skewed the silly decision by the RFL has made the race for 8th. You’ll have a small advantage on Sunday as Wakey will have the same turnaround as you but the cumulative effect may still kick in.
