Radford is hardly ever in the scrum these days. Means the full back can filter back into postion for the set direct from the back of the scrum and not get caught up in a tackle

I personally thought they did it to get an extra person in the defensive line, as soon as the ball is fed the full back runs back into position and you have your looseman in the line ready for the tackle.

Anyone notice the stats in this weeks Rugby papers - that Craig didn't have to make a tackle in the Huddersfield game?

Thats a good thing then, solid defence meant he didnt need to.

Pleasing to see him coming into the line and setting Briscoe up.
