I thought Thaler was very poor. He allowed them to turn our player on the ground after every tackle. The one occassion we did it we got penalised!
I think preventing a quick play of the ball is part of an RFL agenda. During the world cup the pundits were saying that we don't produce quality half backs in this country because in Superleague most tries are scored against disorganised defences through a quick play of the ball. Their idea being that if defences are more organised then half backs must be more skilful and inventive to open them up.
Well that my conspiracy theory.
