So far this weekend I’ve watched the Army v RAF and Leigh Miners v Waterhead in the CCup, both very good games. Now watching Thatto Heath v Orrel. All on the Sportsman YouTube channel. Great set up for an amateur club Thatto. Amateur RL may not be what it was but it’s still alive and kicking, well worth watching. Streaming live may well prove to be the saviour of the game at that level. The more people like us watch the more YouTube revenue they get and general advertising they receive from sponsors. Get watching folks when you get the chance is my recommendation.

You don’t even have to watch, just let it stream on your phone, tablet or laptop. The higher the figure the more YouTube money, more club sponsorship if viewing figures increases, publicity for the sport at that level.

It’s a win win, costs you nothing, not even your time. Even OT might actually agree with me on this one, you never know.

Yeah genuinely exciting and the quality was pretty good, not that far off NL1.

Watched the first half of the Thatto Heath game and thoroughly enjoyed it. Pretty good standard. The full back for Thatto Heath looked decent.

There’s some cracking players in the lower leagues it’s the next level that they can’t handle for one reason or another

I bet a lot switched off at half time? Looked game over but then we had that oh so close 2nd half come bach by Orrell. Bet their fans wished Tom Johnstone had been on that late interception chance.

I was at the Stanley v Hunslet game, and thought Stanley gave a good account of themselves.

It was a good game
