moments in 2024 that become great and fond memories. For me watching from the colonies... What a year!

1) playing at Siddal in the cup
2) Opening night at home to the Bulls
3) Wembley and the awakening of a latent fan base
4) the amazing signings made and announced for 25 and beyond... Led by the return of TJ and signing Big Mac
5) Max Jowitt 500 points... Smashing Foxy's records... Playing Half and Full Back with equal aplomb and a massive number of try assists.
6) the grand final.. Astonishing occasion.. Almost perfect team performance and of course...
7) Jerry...jerry ...jerry!
8 ) the grade A... but with greater ambition, with more work on the ground, the ladies team, the academy, the scholarship... Ongoing at a phenomenal pace

I'm sure there are more...

PS we are now in the early stages of planning (inspired by the release of the 25 fixtures) a trip back to Europe and UK ... Just trying to decide the optimum 3-4 week period... Any suggestions would be welcome!

My grandson is 22 months old and is just starting to talk and one of his favourite past-times is running around the house with his rugby ball shouting "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry"

Wembley was the stand out moment for me. But the atmosphere in the semi at Bradford at full time was pretty special as well.

After that, Siddal was probably my favourite game. Totally changed my opinion on amateur clubs hosting professional sides. They were a credit to the amateur game.

The minute after Jerry's conversion was probably more memorable than the trophy lift! Great way for him to bow out.

Grand final for me all day long, the atmosphere, seeing BV packed to the rafters and a faultless team performance, watched it back several times and get a buzz each time :thumb:

I’d try and sneak magic weekend in there and stay over a night or two in Newcastle or s couple miles out of the centre. Maybe somewhere like Whitley bay etc.

Yeah it was a great night. Best performance of the season and felt like a real event. I was gutted at the time, but I do think in hindsight a year out of SL was just what we needed. It's felt refreshing.
