I'm looking forward to seeing him play for Trinity

I think he's looked really good for England.

A solid performance and a nice break in the second half that led to a try. He'll go well for us next year.

When he was at Cas he played second row , but Catalan used him as a prop. Personally I think during his time at Cas he looked at his best.

That might possibly be because he was over 5 years younger.
Not wanting to start the debate again but he's developed his game now and is more effective at prop.

Thought he had another solid game today but....why was Newman playing, he was crap....shot out of the line twice in the first half and tackled no-one, then missed a one-on-one tackle just before half time which nearly led to a Samoa try :BEAT:

Thought Mac did well... Looks a very good player... Newman needs to learn to run straight, almost all his carries were lateral, and sometimes lost territory... For 55 minutes I thought Welsby was awful... Tentative under the kick... Also stopping and running sideways... Poor pass selection, then he committed to a high kick, took it well and from then on looked a far more assured player. poor Nsemba looked totally gassed after an hour... But he looks a fine prospect. Although Farnsworth won the MOTM i thought the stand out player on the pitch was Jerome Luai... What a fine player he is!

Also sat enthralled by the Kiwi - Tonga game

Newman is no where near international class is he. If fit it’s Farnworth and Wardles places to lose next year against the Aussies you’d expect, unless someone has an exceptional year to unseat Wardle …… I don’t think Superman would be able to take Farnworths place, the lad is a genuine superstar. Thought Samoa were by the by pretty poor, terrible discipline, atrocious kicking game, an Exiles team would have put up a better game than them sadly.
