Anyone going today?

I'll be a Rover for the day.
Wigan have to be favourites but I hope Hull KR can keep their nerve and win.

We are.

Going by train from Dewsbury, and setting off shortly.

Wigan, have to be favourites, and I do think they will win.

I will though be cheering on the Robins, with Mrs EW though.

Hopefully, with what they have done in the past 7 or so years that they have been back up, that we can look to the likes of them and Leigh, and look to emulate them over the next few years ourselves

Wouldn't dream of attending a Grand Final unless Trinity were there. Just another game of RL involving two random SL teams as far as I'm concerned. The Challenge Cup Final is my only exception to this rule.
Regarding the game I hope Wigan absolutely hammer HKR. Am attending a family function this evening so will check on the result once we get home and then make the decision of either play or delete.
I have my Bjorge Lillelien your boys took a hell of a beating posting all ready in my head though. Fingers crossed.

GO WIGAN!

Be a tough game, but think that Wakey Reserves might just nick it. :)

I thought if a player was unconscious during the game they were automatically excluded from returning.

Good tight game but Rovers were out muscled and made some critical errors in the forwards probably due to Wigan taking the gas out of the. Mike Lewis was marked out of the game but with composure and a pass or two HKR could have scored Lewis went for the glory.

Did you have as much fun as us getting back on the train

Had a great day out and it was a good game, although I won free tickets that sat us in the middle of Wigan fans, who have to be some of the most unknowlegable (is that a word?) fans
The journey home on the train was farcical :FRUSRATED:

It was certainly a surprise to see him return.

Yes, it was a bit mad and a free for all in Picadilly station, with delayed trains and not many carriages on the York train, given the event, and number of people heading back to Yorkshire.

It was a good game, and certainly gave a good account of themselves, and it was only really decided by a bit of Bevan French magic. He did though, cut them open a couple of times after that, but with nothing coming of it.

In recent times, I have preferred Wigan fans to Saints fans, and most seem very positive towards Wakefield.

There was a few clowns in the Hull KR end, especially the one shining the laser pen onto the pitch in the second half, aiming it at the Wigan player kicking the penalty

Bumped into Olly Russell outside of old Trafford after the game. Really great lad who’s chomping at the bit to get started with us. Pleasure to talk to.
