Sat in the new stand for the first time for the York game. I was really impressed with the facilities and the view of the action was superb, so much so that I'm considering relocating from the North Stand.
My only concern is I can imagine it gets baking hot when the sun's out. I'd be jnterested to hear from anybody that's used it whether that's the case.
I also noticed that the front few rows were soaked in the pre match rain...so I'd be looking to sit towards the back.

I sit in 2nd row of stand. I didn't get wet when it rained. Yes it gets very hot on a sunny day. Sit further back and the sun isn't a problem.

I moved into the East stand from the north stand and don't regret it at all. I stood on the north terrace for over fifty years but last year I found it a uncomfortable experience. The lack of barriers to lean against was the main factor. The view from the East stand is terrific coupled with the facilities makes it a no brainer, I'm on row P which is approximately 3 quarters of the way back. Come on over and smell the coffee.

We moved here from the north stand and don't regret it. The one thing that is occasionally required is sunglasses. We are on Row L and it can shine directly onto us. Should be less of an issue with Friday night games when we go up though.

Same here, we all moved from the north stand this season and the view is fantastic. Far better than the north and the facilities are excellent too.

I’d encourage any fans to move into the east and fill it up for 2025.

Agree with all the above. I've always been in the North Stand but I thought I would give the new stand a try (and advancing years was taking its toll :( ). I've found it a great experience. I'm on row G and it's a fabulous view - best I've had in 60 years). Great set of people in there so still get the chat and the banter. Facilities a vast improvement. In row G there's no rain but you can get dazzled by the sun in the middle of summer - if the sun actually shines! Sunglasses and a Trin baseball cap sorts it out. Whole experience is in a different league. I reckon I will have to be quick off the mark at renewal time to get a seat.

We were in hospitality at the weekend and were allocated seats on Row G, just behind the York dugout, and whilst the view was excellent, the atmosphere was somewhat lacking and when the sun came out towards the end of the second half, it did get a bit bright :( :(
So come on East Standers, pick up the atmosphere and let's get Belle Vue rocking :thumb: :thumb:

Noticed on the ticket site that the price of East stand tickets for the Barrow game is £20 but is £25 for the Doncaster match. Is this an error or have they been altered for some reason?

Sorry FIL but No! You want noise that’s what the North stand is for. East stand is fine as it is.

If I have one complaint it’s the number of people who can’t sit down for forty minutes! Why do people feel the need for a hot dog 20 mins into the half. One game I had to stand up nine times in one half and missed a try. I don’t mind five mins leeway at the end of the halves but there are limits.

I know it’s all money but a bit of consideration would be nice.

Each to their own I suppose, Vasty but the atmosphere was definitely lacking in there...glad we're going back North on Saturday
