One of the away games I picked at the start of the season along with Batley that I wanted to visit but work has had a say in me not attending either

That’s a small looking squad.

Is like to see us rotate a fair bit now the season is won. Not too much but rotate so every forward gets a break of a game over next few weeks and a couple of backs.

Booth
Olpherts
Croft
Pratt
Walmsley
Jowitt
Kay
Bowden
Doyle
Atoni
Ashurst
Boothroyd
Pitts

Smith
Vagana
Cozza
Hood

Rest Rodwell, McGillvray, Thornley and Griffin this week. They can come in next week and Ashurst, Pitts, Pratt etc could have a weak rotation. No reason not to for these couple of games. That said our final 1/2 games we should go back to our strongest 13 to build consistency in run up to the playoffs.

They are just a bunch of squares.

Good to see Isaiah back in the 17. Not sure about Croft on the wing, although it's not really his position, I would have brought in Booth and used Crofty as 18th man. Max and Kay in the halves again. Interested to see how Toby goes starting in the second row in place of Griff. Very big bench, looks like we are going to try and tire them through the middle. Never heard of this referee and according to his profile he has never refereed us before.

A great gesture, Swinton Lions forming a guard of honour as we walked on to the pitch.
