We are due to a home game Sept 8th, but if they stay true to their/them the players being on strike for the rest of the season, does that mean all the league points will be awarded to the teams they should play ? I have have never known such a players strike with these details that the players have, I do appreciate the players position ,& they are entitled to all back pay etc.

Can't recall any teams going on strike since Bradford Northern's back in 1990. The RFL took away a planned fixture against the touring Aussies and gave it to us instead iirc.
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

I think we had a problem at the end of the Pearman era when players were not paid and many refused to play. If my memory does not fail me in addition to the pay problem the club did not provide the players with insurance to cover loss of earnings should they sustain an injury. This was totally unacceptable and some chose that it was too much of a risk and withdrew from the team.

Didn't we beat St Helens at home just after that, in a game we shouldn't have had a prayer of winning?

I am sadly once again back to my memory but I thought the impacted game was the last one and against Castleford away.
