I've only been supporting The Trin for a couple of years, but I need a bit of help from you lads (and lasses). I'm trying to work the lyrics to some of our songs.

I get all the usual pseudo-football chants like "When the Trin go marching in", "I'm Wakefield till I die", "We love you Wakefield". etc etc. They're no problem. It's a few of the other more "specialist" ones I need a bit of help with.

Like the one that has "do wah diddy diddy dum" one.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what the lyrics are to that song? And also any others that it would be useful knowing. That way I can join in, and not feel like a total outsider!

Thanks in advance

"His name his Harold Poynton he's the leader of our team and he's the greatest stand off that the world has ever seen.......etc..."
took some beating.

Trying to remember the "Trinity song" that Casey used to lead the team in singing along with the fans during the promotion winning season.

Plus there was this.

Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds, of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these.
Of all the teams in Rugby League with me you will agree, the best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!
