Massively overrated side, even worse when Watson was appointed.

An incredibly good season in 2022 with a 3rd place finish and a Challenge Cup final but outside of that they've underperformed imo.

I was absolutely baffled by his presser after the Warrington game, banging on about how they couldn't compete with the quality of player Warrington had compared to them, if I was Ken I would of been seething, I imagine he was. Word on the street is he spat his false teeth out in the changing rooms confronting Watson. Fair play if you are trying to compete on a budget but he has had all the resources required to build a team he wanted.

Used to rate Watson, but it hasn't worked out for him. he's full of excuses

Never seen a more obvious example of a coach "losing the dressing room".

Hudds under Watson reminded me of us under Chester - capable of both great and calamitous performances.

I bet Chris when he was at Trinity wished he had the resources Watson had thrown at him. Ken Davy at the start of this year was saying it was their best and deepest squad he's ever assembled. To be fair to Chris with the resources he had, the 2016,17 and 18 were about as good as Trinity has played in a 3 year period in SL. Trouble for Chris towards the end we were a side capable of beating anyone but could lose to anyone badly at the same time, like you say same as Watson.
