Would appear there’s a winding up petition heading to court

Watching the Fev v Swinton highlights and there were very few fans in attendance so not surprised they are struggling but surely things aren't that abd.

I don't want to seem insensitive to the people who's jobs are at risk......but if Fev go under, we get 0.5 extra IMG points along with Cas.

I presume that'd be down to catchment area?

My sentiments too, they are a disadvantage to us.
Let's be realistic in this new IMG world, little village teams like Fev will never be in the top flight . They need to accept that and not spend beyond their means in order to try and be something beyond them

Yes. By having to divide Wakefield population between three we drop to the lowest threshold.
We are in mid tear if one drops.....going from 0.5 points to 1 point.
Actually, they don't have to cease to exist. Just drop down a tier.

Quite shocking that such a chunk of points is in catchment when it’s not something you can really influence as a club in fixed stadia with little control of other clubs around you.

it is a only a petition from a creditor not a winding up order.

Crazy that a club can still be run with people like Vickers and hammer time

I hope they get this sorted. I wouldn't take any pleasure from them going under.
