The phrase - "looking to travel for free" - is likely to put most people off IMO....perhaps if you were "willing to contribute towards the cost of fuel" then you would be more likely to receive a favourable response ??

Not sure this the right place to do it. Mate… honestly just what is your problem? I’m on a rugby forum, asking fellow fans who might be travelling down to Wembley for a lift. Of course it’s the place to do it. Obviously I’d want to travel for free if possible but should someone ask for a contribution then I wouldn’t be against it. This is also the second time you’ve outlined the fact I’m posting on here anonymously, just as 99% of users do but what do you think I’m going to do if someone does offer a lift? Sit in the back referring to myself as TimmySmith? If I’ve genuinely done something out of the ordinary to upset you then please PM me and I’ll address it there. You may as well close this thread because it’s well and truly ruined. I might never make it to Wembley. |
