Jason Demetriou has been sacked by South Sydney, feel sorry for him, he seems to have been the victim of boardroom level politics to a certain extent, but on field results have ultimately sealed his fate. I'm sure he will find a position soon enough either NRL or SL |

He'd be daft IMHO to join Hull, who are a club who are almost the double of Souths - interfering board - players with egos the size of planets - a general lack of unity within the club that will take years to fix. I'm not saying JD couldn't eventually crack it, though I'm not sure anybody can under the current ownership - but you'd have to wonder why he'd want to put himself through all that a second time and so soon. SL is an option for him, but he needs to choose wisely imo. |

An assistant job out there is still probably better paid and you can stay near family and the sun. I can see Bennett coming in for him. |

JD has got a job in the media working as part of the commentary team at Triple M at least until the end of the 2024 NRL season, working alongside the likes of James Graham former St Helens and Great Britain player Wonder if he fancies a stint on Trinity TV alongside TC? |

Should we get to Wembley it would be nice if JD would be a guest commentator for Trinity TV. |

If we get to Wembley he should be invited to speak to the players. He's far to valuable to be a summariser on Trinity TV |
