Post subject:  Parking At Featherstone

Where's the best places to park on Good Friday please ? , don't mind a 10 minute walk but just wondered if the surrounding streets are coned off that sort of thing .

You can park in the nearby residential streets but getting down Station Lane on to Wakefield Road afterwards can be a problem due to the traffic lights there. I guess it depends on which way you are coming in to Fev but for our 2 recent visits we have parked on Green Lane at the top of Station Lane which allows very easy access and exit afterwards.

I always park on Green lane when going to Fevs ground, much easier to get back to Wakye with 3 options at the roundabout as to which way to go home :thumb:

Check before you travel, service disruptions on that line thru Featherstone due to a landslip near Knottingley.
