Hi everyone , followed Trinity since 1982 , my very first game was against Oldham in the Challenge Cup at Belle Vue , Harold Box , Billy Harris and Andrew Fletcher .

I was at Cas when we were relegated for the very first time in our history on the final day of that season !!

Welcome to Trinity !!!!

Finally after all these years I really think we are on the verge of something at Trinity .

God only knows we've waited long enough .

I was at that game.
Alas that season was the start of the decline. We'd been to Wembley 79 and were top of the league for much of 81 ending up 4th.

Then injuries and transfers hurt us and its been a long road since then.

Welcome, BT. After 42 years of faithful Trinity support you, like many other supporters, deserve to see something worthwhile this season.

Thank you for the welcome much appreciated .

Even though I'm a Barnsley lad through and through Belle Vue is literally only 15 minutes from where I was brought up and moved back to 12 months ago and when I went through those turnstiles 42 years ago for the first time Trinity instantly became my team .

I've sort of gone on and off since but with Matt Ellis taking over its really rejuvenated me , nowt guaranteed of course but I'm not missing this ride after all the lean years we've experienced .

I suppose I'm the sort of fan Matt wanted to attract back regularly and I've seen all the home games so far , fantastic to see Belle Vue so packed out on Friday night , I even took the wife to her first RL match and she loved it .

Off to Fev on Good Friday too , along with the wife !!! .

The only thing is , if we make to Wembley for the 1895 Cup Final we are on a cruise !!

So I still won't have seen us at Wembley .

Never mind , I reckon a Challenge Cup final won't be too far down the road , if I've waited this long another couple of years won't hurt .

Sorry mate but if it's a choice between watching Trin at Wembley or cruising the river Dearne through Barnsley, then you really need to have a word with your missus

I have just watched the pregame show and suddenly for the first time in many years I felt proud to support WT. I went to most home games but mainly out of the fact that’s what you do but the last few years have been pure purgatory. I heard we set up our own Samaritans line due to the increase in the prescriptions for Diazepam.
We now with the new owner have a chance to be the club we deserve.

The 2008 Challenge Cup semi final was the real gut wrencher , if we'd turned up in the first 30 minutes I reckon we'd have made it that year , alas it wasn't to be .
