Goal kicks in a game.

If my memory serves me right we beat Huyton 63-0 with 12 kicks at goal being converted. I think if the grey matter is working that Mark Conway equalled or beat it by 1.
Perhaps today and/or next week this maybe beaten. Not sure what the record number of tries is 5 springs to mind by an individual not sure by a team other than we got 13 against Huyton.

Mark Conway kicked 13 goals against Highfield in the 90-12 win in 1992 which is also most points scored in a
match IIRC?

I'm sure Fred Smith back in late 50's early 60's scored 7 tries in a match for Trinity, that's if my memory isn't playing tricks on me.

You're right. 7 is the record number of tries scored by Fred Smith.
I was talking with Ian Brooke a couple of years ago about when trinity were beating some team comfortably and Keith Slater was on the wing outside him and had scored 6 tries in the match. Brookie said he broke clear and was about to touch down himself but saw slater alongside him so he passed him the ball so he could equal the record and he dropped it!

I am pretty sure Ivan Spawforth holds the record (unofficially) as it was in a B-Team game back in the 1960's.
Not sure how many he kicked though. Trinity Heritage will know.

Goals in a game is still Mark Conway with 13 against Highfield

Tries is shared between Keith Slater and Fred Smith with 7

Jamie Rooney has the points record with 36 against Chorley

David Smith equalled it in 1973

I was thinking all these things just prior to the York game last week.
