CGP MEP Have become a shirt sponsor with Wakefield Trinity, they’re not new but significantly they’ve increased their sponsorship value and have made much of it on their home website.
I say it’s interesting because they’re a development company whose owner is a Wakefield lad and supporter and they specialise in large developments like stadia https://www.cgpmep.com/projects/romford-stadium/
With the words of Matt Ellis echoing in my ears regarding State of the Art Training facilities for Wakefields players and working on ideas for the West Terrace. I wonder if there’s some significance in CGP MEPs increased backing of the club despite our demotion from Superleague.

maybe buy a piece of land on the Neil Fox way that they're flogging. Would be good to have something for us to train on and in, quite close to the ground, about where the big cooling towers used to be.

I’m guessing you mean the training centre and not the West Stand
I’m not sure but I think a great place for a Wakefield Trinity Training Centre of Excellence would probably be somewhere like Westgate Redoubts old ground at the back of Snapethorpe school. There’s room to put an indoor centre and there’s a couple of training pitches that a decent groundsman could bring up to standard. The old building has changing rooms, showers, a kitchen, a bar an upstairs function room etc that could all become classrooms, video analysis centres, player lounges and there’s plenty of car parking with easy access from/to the M1

Yep, like I said, somewhere for us to train on and in and it's close to the ground. Tbh, I've never been to the back of Snapethorpe school and had a scan.

I'm sure she became a Jehovas Witness later on in life, could be wrong. A little story hereon about Viv,what my dad told me about when she won the money, My Dad was manager of J.H.Taylors Furniture store on Carlton street in Cas in the late 50s through to early 70's and Viv Nicholson and her husband was a customer who had bought some furniture on HP and she was slightly behind on payments. He had been chasing her up on arrears just as she won the money. She marched into the shop after winning ,stuck 2 fingers up at him and told him GGF, i'm not paying ,come and repossess the furniture. The strange thing about Viv winning the money, is that around 15 months after she won the pools jackpot, my uncle Ken, my Dad's youngest brother, also won £28,000 on Littlewoods pools, not an insignificant sum back in 1963.
