Shame about Atoni been out for a month and then needing a review for Metatarsel.

I hope it’s not long term as we need his size and strength up front.

At least it's just a stress fracture to his 5th toe, could be worse he could have got an Acute metatarsal fracture which would have left him out far longer. Hopefully, he won't miss much time, maybe just the warm-up games.

Let’s hope so. He was playing quite well back end of last season so looking forward to seeing him continue that. I suppose he can still work on upper body strength and training other than running.

Agree he was and like yourself, I'm looking forward for him to come into his own this season. By the sounds of it, he'd be taking it seriously in the off-season keeping his conditioning at a decent level, and from just the small interviews he's made you get the impression he feels that we didn't see the proper Renouf Atoni out there last season consistently.

Agree, if you don't put the proper rest and recuperation in, it can just go again. I was just saying it could be worse with an acute fracture, they're a nightmare.

As injuries go, it's not one I'd lose sleep over. Be very surprised if he doesn't feature early in the season.
