This is the point where that unicorn signing that supposedly sells ticket might actually work. The buzz is there now, so it wouldn't take much to make that final push. Can't off the top of my head think of a player who would achieve this who is actually available and willing to join a championship club, but who knows. A big name Aussie, obviously, maybe a returning Pom, or perhaps even a Union convert. Whoever, it would need someone that would spark media interest. Not a fan myself of these kind of signings from a team perspective, but from a marketing perspective, it would make sense. |
