Post subject:  Seen in last week's League Express

In last week's League Express, there was a letter from me about how mental health may suffer when players stop playing, when referees stop refereeing and when supporters generally grow old.
My suggestion to stop that happening is to start spending quality time writing a fictional novel based generally though not totally on your own life, family and family history, work, home town and your rugby league connections.
Many people who I have suggested this to have said that it seemed a good idea but that they would not know how to do it.
For the benefit of such people I have also written three pages of advice on how to. I am in a good position to do this because since starting writing as a hobby, while still working as an electrical draughtsman, I have now written half a million words in six novels in a series that that runs from 1962 to 2008. If you want to read these three pages, contact me at wgeofflee@gmail.com and ask me to send you Geoff's RL Writing Notes.
However you may prefer first to read one of my novels or maybe buy one as a Christmas present for someone who likes a good laugh. If so visit London League Publications at http://www.llpshop.co.uk. My suggestion would be
my latest which is called "Three Good Years". To see them click on Books and then Fiction.
