I've read a lot on here, and spoke to some at games, about what team/squad Willie has 'inherited' since he took over. People on about we need a mass clear out etc, etc. Let's look back at the last game of last season. 6 of the 17 which beat Hull scoring over 40 points are no longer here. Hampshire, Senior, 2 Woods, Arundel & Green. Most of them also played in the last 6 or 7 games, of which we won 5, no Westerman at that point either. Including a couple of academy lads, we've let ago about 9 players from last years' squad, and including signings during this season, we've brought in 9 or 10. Is that not a clear out?! Who would people have kept out of those I have mentioned? Probably just Rocky, so why are we so poor under the same coach, who appeared to get more out of so called 'lesser' players? I know recently the backline has been under strength, but it was the coaches' decision to leave Max out, also Lynne was in poor form before he got injured. Again as under Chester, it seems certain players just have a poor attitude some weeks, it seems they lack motivation, they just don't defend with enough desperation and desire for me.
