Where did Murphy actually come from ? One minute it looked like a walk in try, guy Warrington guy splatted into the ground and it was only after the event I realised he’d been tackled by Murphy difference between win and loss ! |

Could be the long term left side for trinity hopefully. |

What is it with Trinity and wingers in the last few years. For years we couldn’t produce pacy wingers for love or money, however since TJ came along we’ve not struggled. Kershaw imho is a cracking winger as is Murphy and Pratt looks pretty good. Not bad considering we are supposed to get the left overs! |

In all fairness we continue to find and develop plenty of talent in every position. However in the past, they then just seem to hit a brick wall and never progress to first team quality. Remember the all conquering juniors of about 15 years back , think only kyle trout made it and then only a fringe player. However of late things seem to have changed and lets hope it continues. Think Mark Applegarth also deserves a lot of credit for the work he is doing. I also believe the loaning out and dual contracts are giving young players the experience and exposure to fully develop . |

Incredible tackle from Murphy…won us the match without a doubt! Isn’t it ironic that in the season we’re losing arguably one of the most talented players we’ve ever produced there’s another one come off the production line likely to be his long term replacement… I’ll put this out there now… At his age as of now…Murphy is way ahead of what Johnstone was at that age and IMO has the potential to be even better…with natural body growth he will fill out and bulk up over the next season or two and then we could have a real freak on our hands…need to tie the lad down along with Hall ASAP! |

No he’s not sorry but that’s plain wrong. At 20 TJ was scoring wonder tries against Hudds! FWIW I don’t think Murphy will ever be as good a TJ, he’s not quite got that scoring ability. TJ would have scored from that low pass in the first half imo. However I’m still more than delighted to see Murphy coming good but for heavens sake hold your horses, he’s only twenty and has played half a season. Comparing him to TJ is incredibly premature. |
