Jenna Brooks just tweeted 3 Catalans players and a member of their staff today tested positive for Covid. Entire squad self isolating. Two Wakefield players will also need to isolate.

Really dont under why only two? I guess they might have not been in the match day 17.

Not great news, squad being depleted with injuries now this depletes our team selection further. Could be like last season again though thankfully no relegation to worry about.

Test results could be from the week before...they might have been the only two Trin players to have actually tackled a Catalans player in that game ????

I think that it is implying that the WT players are self isolating as a result of something not connected with the Catalan game.

Not sure how this works but I read an interview with Ian Watson and he said after the Hull players tested positive only 13 tackles in their game against Salford had been assessed has being at high risk of passing the virus from player to player.

Which ever way you look at it why should we have to play because no other teams have. This is clearly unfair to our team and I trust we will object to having to play because Catalan tested positive.
The one thing that confuses me is the reference to track and trace if this was during the game then it indicates that two of our players were within 6 feet of an infected Catalan player for 15 minutes. This brings a new definition to the term man marking. It doesn’t say much for the rest and what about the referee.
With our current form Sunday was already a difficult fixture and with them being at home but now we have lost two further players from a struggling squad.

The season shouldn't have restarted in the first place, the sport doesn't have the capital to do it properly with those "isolation bubbles" or whatever they are called.

Who agreed that the game Sunday should go ahead because until the two are cleared of having the virus none of the others can be certain and should be stood down. This is the principle all other teams have been told to adopt so what makes us special.
I cannot think Chester would want to play Warrington with two further members of his squad disqualified and the possibility of more being added because another cricket score against us would not be too well received.
