MC says we've spent 450,000 under the salary cap so what happens to the money are we allowed to keep it & spend the money on new players for next season or can we just bank it. |

Huh ? Are you aware that clubs that can’t afford to spend the cap. Don’t. The full salary cap money isn’t just given to the club by the RFL. |

I don't believe we receive all of the 1,825,000 that each club gets either We are fined some of the above for not meeting sky's stadia criteria The cap was £1.825m per season but rose to £1.9m in 2018, £2m in 2019 and £2.1m in 2020 |

I assume you mean if we had the money but chose to save it rather than spend it this year, so we could spend to cap next year...... I clearly don't know but I'm thinking you could. ..... For Wakefield we don't have the money to save in the first place. So it isn't an issue. |

That's all I wanted to know Pop Tart thank you I just wondered what happened to money we didn't spend on the alary cap it wasn't that hard a question |

There isn't. What he meant is that we get good value for money and do well, bearing in mind we spend so little. |

If you had the money to spend the full cap, you would. The reason we don’t spend the full cap is because we don’t have the money to spend in the first place. Hence we are punching above our weight. |
