I would say if that is the case then the club would be incredibly stupid to put themselves in this situation - They have no chance of making the top 4 and if they lose on Friday they have to rely on the results of other teams to escape from that bottom 4. They have had some terrible injury problems this season, I think at one point they were missing around 12 out of there strongest 17, just as they had some awful luck with injuries in 2016 and ended up in the bottom 4. They have had bad injury problems, but they are now welcoming some of there better players back, I dont think there is any ulterior motive. |

With all that in mind, do you think they might be bringing a couple or so back because of the position they find themselves in where in normal circumstances they might not risk them. |

Maybe so, I suppose it depends on if they think a lets say a Ablett at 70% fitness is better than a Walters who is fully fit. If they are playing a few players that are not 100% I hope we can pick up on it early and punish them throughout the game. |

There is absolutely no doubt that Leeds were always so confident of making the play offs each season that, they rested and repaired their top players in order to have them in good nick at the business end of the season. This worked for them on multiple occasions and they have been caught out twice, so, not such a bad gamble and with the ageing squad that they had, it wasn't a bad idea for a number of their players to play fewer games. Wakefield getting 6 start on the handicap, which shows what the bookies think and although Leeds have been in dire form, if Trinity cant win this one, we will more than likely need something from out final game, at Huddersfield, to avoid the middle 8's Having dropped Jowitt from FB and moved Hampshire our of the halves, when we were winning games, it looks like, having bashed their confidence, we are asking them to save us.Let's just hope that they can |
