The big fight back from Leeds didn’t materialise today thank god ,and by that scoreline still look a broken team ,ripe for the picking. Surely we have at least another saints like performance in us for fridays game and give them a good kicking while their still down. Here’s hoping . |

I went today - we didn't really get out of third gear. The weather was oppressive but Leeds were very ordinary. We also bombed two tries in the first half. Ward went off injured as did Delaney. You should pick up the points with ease |

This technically is still McD's team as 2 days of Sinfield isn't going to make much difference. The thing that shocked me was how unfit Leeds looked. McD was never known for coaching great rugby league but his teams were always superbly fit and hardworking. Today they were gone after 20 minutes and Cas should have scored 60. Delaney went of with concussion but there did seem to be blood on show as well. Ward went off with what looked like a shoulder dislocation but came back on for the last 20 minutes. The worrying thing for Sinfield will be that the youngsters are trying their hearts out but some of the senior players seem to have already thrown the towel in. |
