In 8 seasons with Leeds, Brian McDermott has got them 4 Grand Finals, 2 Challenge Cups, a World Club Challenge and a League Leaders Shield. Wonder where he will go next?
Apart from injuries let’s remember that he’s had a raft of significant retirements in Sinfield, Leuluai, Burrow, Peacock, McGuires moved on and Hardaker imploded. They’ve also allowed JJB and Ablett to grow old without adequately replacing any of these players like for like.
He’s overseen the successful introduction of Walker, Oledski, Smith, Golding, Singleton, Handley, Lilley, Walters, Newman, Ward & Sutcliffe to name Just a few juniors.
Hes been a great coach and despite current form I can’t see the justification for his sacking.

He's certainly the best coach that they've had in the SL era and by some distance, they may never repeat the level of success that he has brought to the club.
