Yeah, heard good things about him. Looks like we will be losing one of our 3 halfs and id have thought if we are looking to the future that Finny will be the one to make way so keeping Hampshire as our young project?

I thought he was a player that was earmarked to progress to the first team, but not seen enough of him to know how he was progressing
It's a shame, I really liked him - but and it's always been at the back of my mind regarding him - oh my word he's small and unfortunately unlike Burrows he doesn't quite have that electric pace. You'd have to fear for him in a full on SL game.

oh well.
I remember a certain Aussie halfback once labelled `Too small` he did not have electrifying pace either, in fact he was also labelled too slow to play professionally and released from multiple clubs at a young age. Now described by some as the greatest player in the history of Rugby League.

Tim Smith was a brilliant player and quite possibly my favourite ever but I wouldn't class him as the greatest player in the history of rugby league...

It's a big call to label him (I presume Alfie?) the greatest ever. Personally I don't get that as the game has changed so much over the decades that a great player now may not even have made it years ago!
