Batchelor to get an extended run for me.

Makes the penalty he received when he couldnt get up after sustaining the injury seem even more uncalled for.

Poor refereeing in my eyes.

With this and the continued absence of Craig Huby, would this be a good time to recall Baldwinson and Crowther from their loan spells.

Especially, as we are now entering the business end of the season, and soon the 8's.

There are probably a few other players now who are starting to get knocks and bumps

They can be called back any time as far as I’m aware.

If we sign Kopczak then I can’t see Baldwinson being needed.

You gotta feel for Crowther but with ready made replacements in Anakin and Horo and Batchelor playing really well the poor lad is still not going to get a look in.

You could argue that Horo hasn’t lived up to expectations but I can’t see many coaches running with two under 21 S/R at this point in the season so he and Anakin will most likely get the gig.

It’s a bitch for certain players but it does show our strength in depth.

If you are good enough, you are old enough Vasty, obviously JC just is not quite there yet in terms of the players we have in the squad which as you allude to shows great strength in depth.

Matty Ashurst is effective for the full 80 in the SR, Pauli Pauli has been playing in the second row on the last few outings, so that leaves us really with 1 bench spot for the second row? For me that goes to Batch over Horo, Horo whilst not doing too much wrong has been disappointing for me so far and I expected a little more from him.

Jordan played most of his career at back row but for past two seasons as a loose forward middle. He enjoys it there and played well for Wakefield in pre season. At Dewsbury he's had MOM, made 50 tackles twice and scored 2 trys in his last 5 games. He can still play back row and even hooker. He played hooker for Dewsbury and Wakegield reserves away at Wigan, scoring from a scoot.
Doesn't wish any player injured but would love a chance in the middle should it arise. Covering other positions if needed.

Wishing Kirmo a speedy recovery ready for his testimonial year. Sure he'll get plenty of support in all his testimonial events. Would love a past British Trinity team to play a past Trinity exiles team as one event. A great servant :ROCKS:

I watched the Toronto v Dewsbury match last weekend on Freesport just to see how JC performed. I may be mistaken, but I thInk Jordan's was the only name that the commentators (Brian Noble & some woman who just seemed to be stating the obvious all the time) didn't mention, and he seemed to be either the second or third man in at the tackles. I was a little disappointed in his performance, but I think we've got to persevere because I'm sure he'll be there or thereabouts at some point.

This is a big opportunity for James Batchelor to make a 2nd row shirt his own. Annakin to take the bench spot.

Jordan played carrying a dead leg injury, due to ridiculous carry on with visas going to Toronto. He proved himself in pre season, which I’d have thought any GOOD coach would have rewarded, but never mind somebody’s loss somebody’s gain and all that.
