A real tough game this one. We certainly need a strong start and not show them too much respect and not give them the start that we handed Wire. IF we can contain them for the first 10-15 mins, then we have a chance. We are getting 14 start on the handicap and although I think that it will be closer than this, I dont see us doing the double over Saints.
However, this is Trinity and we are at our best as underdogs.
Fingers crossed for you it should be a great game to watch. Rhino's seemed to have sussed them and were content to put it off the island on the 5th and let saints start with a scrum deep in their own half rather than kick high to Barba and Makinson with the inevitable results. Cas fell into that trap both times.
Get in their faces early doors and try to knock them off their stride which is easier said than done I know.Show the likes of barber respect and we all know the outcome . I thought last time we played them the game plan worked really well cutting down option times for them. Apart from barber I think we have a team that not only can match them blow for blow I think we can turn them over, if we play to our strengths .

The result you won’t get is the easiest to predict - a comfortable win for Wakefielld.
If we are very lucky then a narrow win - just lucky a narrow loss.
Most likely a 20 point defeat with us fading in the last 20. Worst scenario I just don’t want to imagine.
If nothing else I’d just like the game decided by the players and not the ref. For once I’d just like to be able to say we got beaten fair and square if beaten we are.

Will be interesting to see how Roby is after a high altitude game and a flight back from Denver. Run at him all day long, he’s the one who makes Saints tick.
Should be a good game and one I'm looking forward to.
Maybe Syrup, quite right about the high altitude game, and there could be some fatigue within the Saints players involved. That said they have had a little bit more recovery time.
I think the key is keeping Barba quiet, but then there is the test of the side.
If we play to our potential and our strengths, then we can turn them over.
I just hope we don't give them too much respect and lose heavily.
Points difference could so much he the key, come the end of the season.
I can't see us getting much from this one - they were finding their feet when we beat them - and now they are very much firing on all cylinders and are by far and away the best team in SL, by quite some margin.
I'd still like to see some intent though - their strengths are obvious, and Leeds made a good fist of negating them; formulaic end of set stuff that ends up with Barba, Makinson or Grace will allow them to eat up metres - we can do something about that. Their forwards are no better than ours, and they will have some players fatigued from their Denver experience, so there are things to go at.
