They suggest one year extension for Kirmond and two year contract for Pauli who states he is happy playing for this team and coach. |

That would be excellent news, there are few things I like more at trin than a settled squad Be great to have another year from danny and two extra years for Pauli would be excellent, he's really starting to show us all what he can do too I think he'll continue to get better also |

Keeping Pauli would be great, he has been getting better week on week. I think the move to the back row has helped him as well. |

FWIW I have always believed that the number one criteria for any overseas player is that he provides something that is simply not available in the domestic game or what’s the point. PP more than any other player in SL does just that. I can’t think of a single player either British or overseas who is like PP certainly not one with the potential. Ditto Fifita and to a lesser extent Tupou, Millerand Randell. Not so convinced by Horo or Arona who imo can be matched within the club and certainly within SL other than cost which is something I don’t know. Over all I can’t think of a club that has done better in this respect and in PP and Fifita we have two unique players. David is worth it almost for just being David though he does offer far more than that. Great signing imho. |

He's not the quickest but he was taking 4/5 Wigan players out of the game to deal with him on Thursday. Been a bit of a long road getting him up to speed but the drier tracks are helping and hopefully he'll be acclimatised for next winter. Those three birds he's constantly in the company of may helped him settle down too
