I think the forthcoming game this weekend against Widnes was included by many as a 'winnable' game.
Has anybody had a change of mind, because I'm usually optimistic, but I now have serious doubts about a win! Widnes on their day are more than a match for us I fear!

Magic Weekend now just another distant memory. Going across, as always, hoping for the best but fearing the worst.

At least I'll have a decent shirt on. :)

Massive game, Must Win is a strong phrase but this is almost Must Win. I hope we can win and it could lead us to kicking on but I have thought that before. Win and I hope we can look up the table, Loose and I think it is fair to say we are in a relegation dog fight.

If we lose this game it's safe to say as Altofts Wildcat put - we are in a relegation dog fight...

Wigan, Warrington and St Helens to follow this fixture - a winnable game when we welcome Catalans to Belle Vue followed by Leeds, Hull FC and a real opportunity to get our own back when we travel to Huddersfield for the last league game of the season.

I'd hope to pick up 6 points out of 6 with Widnes, Catalans and Huddersfield.

One thing I will say though... win or lose we're on the booze!!

Widnes have some big names out injured so we will never have a better time to take the two points on offer .
I’m hoping for a settled squad with no large reshuffle and backs to the wall mentality from the players , cos boy do we need the win to settle all our nerves

I would like to see this team get a run out on Friday:

Jowitt
BJB
Lyne
Arundel
Johnstone

Miller
Hampshire

Fifita
Wood
England
Ashurst
Batchelor
Randell

Hirst
Huby
Pauli Pauli
Tupou

Finn needs to have his operation (or whatever is needed) to fix his finger. Stop playing him injured, it's clearly not working.
Horo blows too hot and cold and certainly offers no more than Batchelor
Arona has gone off the boil this season
Tupou is a threat but that seems to be lessening as the season progresses - on a quick pitch I'd rather have Arundel who can put TJ away

If Rocky isn't doing it at scrum half then we can move Woody to there and move Randell to hooker

I think Arona hasn’t been offered what he thinks he’s worth so isn’t putting it in as much. He’s nowhere near the player he was last year and think he might be on the move. A top six club would be getting a good player if one of them picks him up off contract.

A top 6 club rather than a top 7 who might end up top 6? :)
