Post subject:  Salford Appeal Decision Details

This could possibly be seen as a VT post rather than a Wakefield Forum post but it is relevant to us and I found it interesting

http://www.rugbyam.co.uk/articles/news/ ... on-appeal/

It takes some readying but I didn't realise that the RFL were also going to the appeal with a request to increase the penalty.
and funnily enough part of the decision was based on Dr K's good nature and presentation and the fact that he has since put things right at the club.

I still think, the thing that killed him was his public statement that he didn't like the salary cap and that he was going to break it anyway as it shouldn't be there.......if I remember the statement correctly.

At least it is resolved now. Salford will be better for it in the long run.
